A Little Look at How Your Sparkle Is Made
Every NHD piece is designed, cut, stoned, and finished by hand. My goal is to create bold, stage-ready jewelry that gives you maximum sparkle while remaining as lightweight and comfortable as possible.
Built from the Blank Up
Every design begins with a lightweight PET or acetate base, selected based on the size, shape, and construction needs of the piece.
Each component is individually cut and prepared. For multi-piece designs, functional connection points are built into the components so they can be securely assembled with jump rings while still allowing beautiful movement.
Stoned by Hand
Every rhinestone is individually placed by hand.
NHD Signature pieces are created with quality glass rhinestones, with the option to upgrade select designs to genuine Preciosa® MAXIMA crystal. Swarovski® crystal is also available by custom quote and availability.
Intricate designs may include multiple stone sizes, colors, specialty shapes, and hundreds of individual placements.
Made in Stages
Your NHD jewelry isn't created in one sitting. Each piece moves through a multi-step process:
- DesignCreate or adjust the design, size, and layout.
- Cut & PrepCut, clean, and prepare each component.
- StoneIndividually place rhinestones by hand.
- CureAllow proper curing time between stages.
- FinishBack and finish each piece for a clean, polished result.
- AssembleAdd hardware and assemble multi-piece designs.
- Final QCFinal check, clean, and prepare for packaging.
Proper curing between stages is an important part of the construction process. That's why your jewelry may take several days to complete, even though you don't see me actively working on it every minute of those days.
Finished with Care
Once the stoning is complete, the backs are finished and hardware is securely attached. Multi-piece designs are assembled, and every piece receives a final quality check before packaging.
Backing options include:

NHD pieces are not factory produced or mass assembled. Each one passes through my hands from the original design to the final quality check.
Because your jewelry is handmade, you may notice tiny variations between pieces. That's part of what makes your NHD design uniquely yours.
